Featuring charming live animation from
The Paper Cinema

The Paper Cinema is a world of paper marionettes projected from a black box. Artist Nic Beard’s ink drawings of half-mythical, half-cartoon characters are brought to 2-dimensional life to act out tales and surreal, dream-like ramblings. They present:
King Pest, and a new never-before seen work-in-progress, The Night Flyer.
King Pest was created for Masque of the Red Death at BAC. Both Pieces feature live music by Kora.

First Place, in the aftermath of an unexplained disaster, an F-1 driver is left stranded on a desolate arctic landscape.
With help from a Siberian Husky, the stranded driver heads for the finish line
only to find himself a pitiful champion to an indifferent world.

THE ROBBERY
The Robbery can never be planned. Or it's exact details revealed.
Can you steal what might be yours already?

Unidentifiable sound and spoken word from:
Where’s Pat and New Nick City
Crisp clear shadows of two people, the light for the shadow may be a gruesome slide image or a contrast like a picturesque scenery shot, mountains, early morning sunrise or mist across a desert plane. With tape players, delay machines, voice, megaphones and small drums possibly, the sound will gather varied routes and unexpected dives.

Music from DJ Sancho
And some other bits and pieces all with an undeniably shadowy sheen.
