It’s our 2nd birthday

So please join us on Saturday 17th for an evening of music, comedy and intrepid performance:

There are not many places in London where you can experience an automatic gameshow in a caravan alongside a human carrier pigeon and one of Londons hottest new bands.  However this Saturday at Stoke Newington International airport we bring you a truly diverse Buffet for the senses. Inhabiting the space between entertainment and art we present to you a weird and wonderful cabaret of cutting edge cross disciplinary performance, a little menu of short films and some music, and of course a right good knees up. Including, but not limited to:  (please check back as the programme grows)

Famous Last Words

Part automatic game show, part cult induction, Famous Last Words is an experience like no other ingeniously built into a caravan.  Created by STK’s Greg McLaren  it is a performerless exploration into sex, death and coercion.  “If the TARDIS was a caravan filled with mad people, and one of them was you, then it would probably be something like Famous Last Words”  Time Out

Hairy Mary

Inspired by the work of David Lynch and Forkbeard Fantasy, animation meets contemporary comedy in Sarah Ruff and Ed Currie’s exploration of Human vulnerability. Previous work described as  ‘A total mind-bend, but without the comedown’, Three weeks

Rhiannon Hunter

The Carrier Pigeon works as a social intervention by delivering hand written notes from person to person. Where social etiquette or obligation might restrict movement or sharing of thoughts, The Carrier Pigeon provides an inventive service for expression.

Doris Day can Fuck Off

Singing in the street is not as easy as Doris makes out.  Greg McLaren has been singing in the street for a week, an imposition he and everyone else has had to deal with.  Doris... explores modes of expression and the challenge of being taken seriously while singing.   This is a work in progress developed at PILOT
